Do I need to decide between Free Zone and Mainland first?
No. What you sell, who you sell to, how many visas you need and whether you need a physical space decide the right structure. Answer six questions and you get a recommendation in about a minute.
How do I start a business in Dubai?
You choose your business activity, pick a Mainland, Free Zone or Offshore setup, prepare your documents, apply for the trade licence and then open a corporate bank account. We handle each step with you.

Select Mainland, Free Zone or Offshore

What types of business licences are available?
There are three main types: Mainland, Free Zone and Offshore. A Free Zone company is licensed by a free zone authority and suits businesses that work online or with clients abroad. A Mainland company is licensed by the emirate's economic department and can sell directly to customers anywhere in the UAE, including from a shop or showroom. An Offshore company is used for international trading and holding assets. Within each, the licence depends on your activity, for example trading, e-commerce, IT, consultancy or restaurant. See business licences.
What documents are required for company setup?
Usually a valid passport copy, a visa copy if you have one, a passport-size photo and the application form. Some activities need additional approvals, and your advisor tells you exactly what your case needs.
Why don't you show prices online?
The cost depends on the authority, your business activity, the number of visas and the type of office. Two setups that look identical online can differ a lot. We send an itemised quote based on your answers, so the number you see is the number you pay.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Eligible setup, licensing and insurance costs can be split into interest-free instalments with Tabby or Tamara, subject to their approval and terms.
Do I have to be in the UAE to set up?
Not for most of it. You can start remotely. A few steps, such as the medical test and biometrics for a residence visa, need you in the UAE, and we plan those around your trip. See how a 5-day trip works.
How do I open a corporate bank account in the UAE?
Once your trade licence is approved, we prepare your passport and company documents, pick banks that accept your activity and nationality, and support the application with the KYC forms until the account is approved. The final approval is always the bank's decision.
How can I get a family visa in the UAE?
You need to meet the salary requirement and provide the right documents. We handle the rest.
Collect passport copies of your family members
Submit your tenancy contract and salary certificate
Apply for the entry permit
Complete the medical test and Emirates ID typing
Receive the family visa
What is an out pass and who needs it?
An out pass is an exit permit issued by UAE immigration for people who overstayed or don't have a valid visa. Once it's processed, it lets you leave the UAE legally. We review your case, check your documents and submit the request for you.
Do you provide PRO and government services?
Yes. We offer complete PRO services, including visa processing, labour cards, Emirates ID typing, medical typing, Amer, Tasheel, document attestation and other government paperwork. See PRO services.
Do you arrange health and car insurance?
Yes. We arrange health, family, parents', employee, investor, car and home insurance. Health insurance starts from AED 725 and car insurance from AED 653, depending on your age, cover and the insurer. See insurance.
